The beds we offer are certified and made under strict supervision. Bearing in mind the natural environment, our suppliers use only wood obtained from legal sources (i.e., from forests specially cultivated for wood production). In addition, for the sake of the environment, we do not include paper instructions – they are available online – and the beds are packed using the minimum amount of plastic. Thanks to you, we will plant a beautiful forest. Each bed you buy is one tree planted in the TreeTale forest.
Kids bed – Papillon II

The scalloped edge, reminiscent of a delicate ruffle, gives Papillon a little extra character and makes its simple form instantly more distinctive. The open design keeps the whole look light and calm, while the higher headboard side creates a comfortable place to lean back during story time, quiet chats and slow evenings. A subtle detail that makes all the difference.

Additional information
Raw materials – the bed is made of first-class natural pine wood. Natural wood beds are very solid and durable. The wood is thoroughly burnished and polished to reflect the smoothness of natural wood accurately. Thanks to these treatments, no other chemical wood protection agents are necessary to secure the bed (no lacquers, stain varnishes, etc.). The polishing treatments guarantee 100% smoothness of the wood.
The beds are painted in a two-stage process that ensures durability, safety and a beautiful finish. First, the wood is coated with an isolating primer, which seals the surface and prepares it for the final finish. Next, the final coat is applied, giving the bed its smooth, even color and improved resistance to scratches. The paints comply with the EN 71-3:2019+A1:2021 safety standard for children’s products.
Bed mattress – the set does not include a mattress. This must be purchased separately according to your preference. The mattress should be the same width and length as the bed frame and the mattress must be between 8cm and 12cm high.
The bed can be used by children who can sleep independently.

Papillon II keeps the signature scalloped edge of the collection, but gives it a lighter, more open form. The gently raised headboard adds a cosy finishing touch without enclosing the sleeping space, while the soft line of the frame brings a subtle decorative rhythm to the whole design. Thoughtful configuration options make it easy to adapt Papillon II to your child’s room and the way the space is used every day.
It can be even higher
The basic form of the bed has legs that are 3 cm long. That’s the best design, made in concordance with Montessori philosophy, for toddlers, who are learning how to crawl.
If you’d like your bed to be higher, it’s not a problem at all! You can choose how much further up your bed is supposed to be, 10 or 20 cm above the floor.
The legs cannot be extended by themselves. When you place your order, you must decide on a specific length right away.
